Handmade Cricut Christmas Cards

Well, I've been busy working on my Christmas cards with my new cricut machine.

 There's soooo much to learn! I'm enjoying making these cards, but sometimes it's just a little frustrating trying to figure out how to use the different features.

 Card making can also become a big expense to get started.

 I took these to a craft store that we frequent to show the ladies there and to get their opinion, they think I should bring some up to the store to sell, but I'm definitely not there yet!!

 Maybe next year after I have lots and lots of practice and really know what I'm doing, maybe then.

This last snowflake card was my first one, but I changed the blue button that was in the center of the snowflake, and put a sparkle gem in the center. I like that better, I just didn't have the gems when I made the card.

So, this is what I've done and hope to get many more done and to become creatively inspired as I go! Have a nice week everyone!

My First Cricut Card

Well, I finally got to try out my new Cricut Create and made my first card. I think it turned out fairly nice, but needless to say, I need lots of practice. It took a very long time putting the glue on the words. Very tedious. I think I may try fonts in my computer and printing out the holiday phrases instead...if I can figure out how to do it that way! I know there has to be a way of doing this. I'm looking forward to making more Christmas cards and hopefully they will get better. Have a great week everybody!

Handmade Christmas Card Inspiration

Who doesn't like to receive a homemade Christmas card? I love them. I used to make them a couple of years ago, but got away from it, not enough time, but they are so beautiful to receive! Recently I ordered a card making magazine to see if I could get some inspiration to try my hand at it again. I guess the thing to do would be to start early in the race!
